Donna Thorne, RMT/Owner
Donna graduated in 2012 from the 3 year Massage Therapy program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT). Donna is a treatment oriented therapist who provides a tailored approach by working with her patients, through discussion and assessment, to find and treat the root cause of the pain or dysfunction. She utilizes a combination of techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilizations and sports massage to facilitate her patient’s return to optimal function and mobility.
Donna is experienced in treating patients with a wide variety of conditions, including athletic and overuse injuries, headaches and migraines, whiplash, tendinitis, chronic pain and neurological pathologies.
As a recreational hockey player and skier, Donna knows about injury rehabilitation and how to treat the misalignments that life brings. She has advanced training in fascial techniques and also worked as a Clinic Instructor for the RMT program at the Kelowna campus of Vancouver Career College.
Donna is pleased to offer direct billing to ICBC, plus most insurers for extended health plans.
Caroline Braun, RMT
Caroline is a graduate of the 2-year Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College in Kelowna. Having worked in a behind the scenes capacity in health care over the last 10 years, Caroline decided to change careers so that she was taking a more proactive, hands on approach to both her career and her own health.
As someone who suffers from chronic headaches, Caroline found that massage had an incredible impact on both their occurrence and severity. Massage had such a profound impact in her life that she wanted to be able to share that with others. Through hands on time, education, and the importance of self-care using both therapeutic exercise and stretching, Caroline’s focus is to get her clients to be able to live their lives to the fullest with as little pain as possible.
In her free time, Caroline loves to spend time being creative, reading and walking with her dogs, exploring this beautiful valley we live in.
