Insurance Direct Billing
Insurance Coverage For British Columbians
In British Columbia, your Registered Massage Therapist is a health care professional that is recognized by:
Extended Health Care Benefit & Private Health Insurance Plans
Many British Columbians have extended health benefits through a workplace group insurance plan or through a private insurance plan. Coverage varies, often with an annual ceiling amount. Sometimes a physician’s referral is required for reimbursement of claims. Please check with your plan provider for details of your policy and any requirements.
*Please note that on occasion we are unable to proceed with direct billing, as some insurers do not provide specific information of payment amounts. This may require us to void the claim and ask that you pay the full amount and submit the claim yourself.

British Columbians on premium assistance (low income) can claim part of their visit to a Registered Massage Therapist through their British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP). MSP will contribute up to $23 per visit for up to ten (10) total visits to supplementary health care providers per year. Patients may be required to supplement the cost of the RMT visit.
We do not provide direct billing services to MSP.
